A comprehensive network of carefully developed cycling routes and bike shops makes for a sophisticated infrastructure for all your cycling needs on the plateau. There are around 50 signposted loops for adults and children. Should you wish, professional bike guides are available to lead you through the high alpine landscape. Or you can plan your route independently and download it as a GPS track.

A diverse terrain with various trails and several Fun Park areas guarantees adrenaline and action for enthusiasts and experts, all the flow you could want to cruise through and a great feeling of togetherness in nature for beginners and families.

The Frommestrail in particular has achieved cult status. The first and longest bike trail in the region starts at the top of the Bike Arena, the 2,495-metre high Schönjöchl, and plummets down 1,070 curving metres to Fiss. A demanding blend of built trails and alpine routes. 

E-bikes for pleasure cyclists

Mountain biking is summer’s answer to skiing. Families and pleasure-seekers can explore the attractions and magnificent landscape around the Hotel Forer by bike. Or even more enjoyably: by E-bike. There are 90 e-bikes in the region’s bike shops along with countless other bike models for hire. Alpine cabins and pastures invite you to drop in and relax over delicious regional cuisine. The cable cars offer additional bike transport to the most beautiful peaks.
